Rick Depalma is, to put it politely, a scam artist. I engaged him a few years ago to redo my mudroom, to make some custom cabinetry, and to finish my basement. Two years later he still had not finished the work, he does not respond to calls or emails, and he makes excuse after excuse for blown deadlines. Worse, he has been through multiple subcontractors because he consistently fails to pay them and they walk off of the job. I used Rick for a re-decking project and from the start he was extremely professional, friendly, responsive and suggested several different (effective) options to complete the repair. The specific carpenter that performed the work was much of the same and was extremely methodical and clean with his work. Would definitely have Rick out again and absolutely recommend him to others.
