I’ve been very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Lao. . Every time I go in for physical therapy, I end up being there for an hour or more, but the doctor only spends a few minutes with me. His main focus seems to be cracking my back quickly, then moving on to the next patient. At my last visit, I waited over an hour while patients who arrived after me were seen first. Not worthy. After waiting six weeks for my knee injections, I was told that the medication to be used was not available. They called me eight minutes before the appointment to let me know. I lost my day. I rescheduled and they never called me back. You can breath the mediocrity and lack of organization.
This physical therapy practice is one of the best I have experienced in the U.S. Dr. Lao does amazing work, is thorough and patient, and focuses on results driven work. Every time I went into the practice, all I could hear from other patients were words of encouragement and satisfaction with the immediate results.
got an appointment as a new patient really quickly. Dr Lao is the best PT i’ve ever been to! He took the time to explain what was going on and even was honest in saying I wont need to see him too often, which was refreshing to hear since most offices have been pitching a sale to me before i even get to see the Dr. I am so appreciative of his honesty and his knowledge. I felt better after one visit and that means the world!!
Westchase Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation is a well-managed, well organized and observably dedicated medical provider. Dr. Horan and Dr. Lao are superbly skilled, noticeably courteous and clearly interested in the wellbeing of their patients.
