I bought my new puppy to her first visit with Dr. Smart and she was just wonderful and very knowledgeable. I have not had a puppy in many years and was greeted by very kind and professional staff from start to finish I was so happy I was recommended by my neighbor to Dr. Smart she was more than patient with me and very smart and gave me some tips I'm thrilled to be a client Susan Buckland and Molly
Yes he doctors here a great! They always provide great care for our dogs. Staff is great too. They love what they do! Highly recommend.
This place is the most horrible animal clinic I’ve ever been to. Don’t recommend whatsoever! They are very rude to you, as soon as you make payment. And that right when you walk in pay now! Not a good atmosphere. My dog has never been scared to go to the vet....till we started going here. My dog body language told me to never go back! So be very weary if you’re going here. They are overwhelmed with patients but not enough help to take care of all those patients. Don’t settle for less with this place!

Westbay has been our hospital of choice for both of our Basenjis for 7 years. They are knowledgeable,up to date on the current treatments and medicines, and they truly LOVE animals. The whole staff is just wonderful. We could not put our dogs in safer hands than those of Dr. Smart and Dr. Scoggins and their amazing staff!!!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We love WestBay Animal Clinic. More importantly, our dog loves everyone there. The doctor's are great. Our doctor, Doctor Smart is caring, compassionate and thorough. She literally gets on the floor with Seamus to keep him calm. She shares her knowledge, experience and information with you no matter the hour. The "staff" there, more like family, is efficient, friendly and caring. If only people doctor's and assistants were half as good. We highly recommend Westbay.
Dr. Scroggins is a superior vet: inquisitive, gentle, thorough, probing, knowledgeable, accessible. I brought one of my 3 senior pooches for an initial visit & review of her severe allergies. She went over various options including some new advances to treat dog allergies. She was clear about costs & weighing the pros & cons of each therapy.
