Everybody hop on board the Michelle Tiberio hype train!! I switched to Westar for my third baby after having mediocre experiences with my doctors with my first two, and it was a night and day difference. I've been going here and generally have had a good experience. I received a referral for a tubal ligation because I was told that Dr. Murnane did not do surgery. That was a lie. I just found out from his office staff that he does do surgery, just not *that* surgery because it is "against his beliefs." This made me incredibly uncomfortable and I wont be going back to this practice. As a woman how can I trust a doctor who lets his religious beliefs dictate the care he provides? I had an amazing experience with Dr. Murnane and the entire team at Westar! All of the staff are wonderful, I felt heard, cared for, and safe in their care during my high risk pregnancy, scheduled C-section, and postpartum. After a not so great experience through prenatal, birth, and postpartum care with another practice for my first child, I had a night and day experience here. They listened to my concerns, and I felt that I was in the drivers seat with major medical decisions.
I never left a review of this place but thought I should to tell other people. I had been seeing the drs there for some problems I was having which Katie was amazing and very understanding but there was another Dr there that didn’t care at all what I was going through, told me it was one thing didn’t even run tests and sent me off with medication, TWICE for the same thing. I cannot recommend Dr. Murnane and his office enough. I received excellent care throughout my entire pregnancy, and everyone in the office was so kind and always made me feel at ease. Dr. Murnane is incredibly knowledgeable, and I felt completely confident and safe under his care during my delivery. He has such an expert, has the most calming presence, and I truly hope he can deliver all of my future babies!
