Dr B has treated children in my family for many years. Our friends’ kids see Dr B as well. He is very kind and gentle with patients. His office is very clean and organized with very skilled staff. There is always a Dr on call after hours and weekends. We feel very fortunate our kids have a Dr we depend upon and trust.
The quality of this place has decreased over the years. I have been taking my daughters there for over 10 years but every year is worse and worse. They are never available to schedule appointments. I have been trying for months to get my daughters scheduled whether for a sick appointment or well check but they are booked months out and don't prioritize sick children. Disappointing Experience, Longtime Patient No Longer Recommended As a parent who has been with West Valley Pediatrics for over 16 years, I am extremely disappointed by the recent decline in service. On several occasions now, I've called first thing in the morning seeking a same-day appointment for my child, only to be told that "all appointments for the day have been given out" and that my only options are to leave a message for the nurse (who may or may not call back), or go to urgent care or ER. Dr.Hartsook has taken care of my two boys healthcare ages 7 and 1, very well. He is very informative, listens well and caring. I will definitely be bringing my daughter to him once she is born and recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome pediatrician. I did recently take my older son to an NP who works out of this office Kayleena Chentfant, FNP who I didn't have a pleasant experience with. She made my son feel self-conscious in the ways she was talking about his weight gain and needs to diet. I won't ever schedule with... read more
