Can honestly say that I am not at all happy with my wife's experience with RMCBP. She came in with Chest pain, nasty headache and high blood pressure. The ER wasn't bad although they focused on the chest pain and blood pressure. When she was finally able to get a room, her blood pressure had come down, the chest pain was gone and the headache remained... and still horrible. It was mentioned yet nothing was done. When brought up again we found out that it was never in the notes. Now we had to wait for her assigned doctor to a... read more

I had my dad transported there from a nursing home. The ER team immediately called a code Sepsis and started emergency procedures on my dad. I cannot say how impressed I am on how quickly they reacted to my dad deteriorating condition. My dad was transported to 3 west. His nurses there was wonderful. After hearing about a need to transport him to ICU, the nurse did everything she could to start emergent care on my father in preparation for ICU. She handled my dads care and knowing she had other patients to care for with pati... read more

My husband had a total knee on Monday Feb. 18th 2019, performed by Dr. Nicola. It was a great experience, the hospital was the bet and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the nursing care far above average-even the food was good. Above all we were extremely happy with Dr. Nicola-he is superb and my husband's pain control and care was exceptional. I have been to the other hospitals and they lag far behaid WVMC

They sent my mother home from the ER when she was clearly having a stroke. She ended up back in the ER in less than 12 hours with a stroke but it was far to late for meds. She had to be transported to a better hospital they could not help her at Bay Area ( their words)

I been here for a few years and let me tell you it is not a safe place to be. You could have a nurse that is taking care of you that works on the general medical floor, but where are you, you are on the heart floor. She/he does not know as much as a nurse that works on the heart floor day in and day out. Most of the nurses that work in special areas such as ICUs, Recovery rooms, OR, ER, Open heart floors, Telemetry floors, Mother/Baby all take special training and lots of classes to know what to look for in there special are... read more
