This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve been a part of in a medical setting. Dr. Doorman had horrible bedside manner when I first saw him over 3 weeks ago and he refused to call me back after over a week to discuss MRI images. I called the office 3 times on 3 different days and got attitude from the receptionists when I asked why the Dr. scheduled me for a call to discuss the results on Tuesday and never called. I have never experienced a doctor that was so uncaring. He did not explain why he wanted to perform the specific surgery that I do not want. I felt as if I was wasting his time and a bother. He spent less than 5 mins with me and told me I could wait to schedule the surgery but they are taking about a month to schedule. I felt pressured to agree to spinal fusion when I wanted to know about disk replacement. He wouldn't tell me why he felt fusion was better. I honestly wouldn't let this man cut anyone open. Dr. Dorman is a great doctor. He did a perfect job on my back. He was easy to talk to and very understanding. I highly recommend him. I liked all his people, too. They were very thoughtful and kind.If I ever have any more similar problems I will definitely go back to him.
