June, 2012 I had surgery for a hammertoe at West Texas Foot Specialists in Sept. 2011. I was disappointed at the lack of communication before surgery, although I asked all the questions I felt I needed to ask. After the surgery I've felt there was absolubtely no improvement in the hammertoe as it still needs to be exercised and taped and still tries to cross over the big toe.
