When I was 7-years old my mom had to rush me to this hospital for a terrible dry cough. They took forever to even do intake in the Emergency Department. My mom literally had just took me to Rush instead to get treated afterwards
Terrible hospital. I pray they never reopen. The rent a nurse program is the reason patients get such horrible treatment and guest are treated like menacing intruders. I was not allowed to stay over night with my husband who was in ICU because the rent a nurse told me West Suburban had a no over night stay policy Every time visiting hours ended she would call security to come as us to leave. They do not care about the community. Not providing quality care and continuity of care for patients is inhumane.
How disrespectful disgusting of a place on Jan 18 my momma had a stroke at home or seizure in my and my sister arms...this would be her third hospital er,first there. I'm disabled yet I had to go my sis was exhausted. As I sat with my momma all the sudden she had another stroke in front of me. I had to scream for someone to come...a week later I recall that they had NEVER given her oxygen????? Most horrible way to see my momma. This place is a disgrace I will Never forget.
