Very cozy atmosphere you feel very Welcome and comfortable...the food was remarkable with every thing I tried it was delicious I had the pork loin which was unbelievable taste of moist pork and cooked with a taste of grilled onions delicious
Wanted to try something new and was recommended this place. Upon arrival we were greeted so warmly by the bartender and we chatted for a few minutes. Very welcoming and awesome atmosphere. I had the fish stew which was delicious and my husband had the mixed grill which was perfection. We started with the chicken croquets - awesome. Wait staff was attentive, professional and very friendly. Overall a great experience. Looking forward to returning with girlfriends and sitting outside for martinis.
West Side Tavern is my favorite New Britain restaurant. It is like my CHEERS, where everyone knows your name. Isaac and Peter, kudos for such a great place!

Been there a few times now and never had nothing but A+ food and service, the atmosphere is everybody knows each other. Sat at the bar and talked with Peter about a creating a new drink and it was DELISH!! It was a mixture of Cucumber 🥒 Vodka, lemonade, lavender. He's also going to add to the drink list. Can't wait to go back to have this refreshing cocktail. 🍹
My girlfriend and I came here for cocktails and apps for our anniversary last night and it was fantastic. The drinks were spectacular and the popcorn pistachio crusted octopus was perfection. We sat at the bar chatted with the couple next to us and the woman working. Overall it's a very comfortable and welcoming place. We can't wait to go back to try the rest of the menu.
