I have had them overcharge me on three occasions. My brother bought me a gift card for my birthday as a surprise. They did not apply it to my next service and did not tell me about it. Eventually he asked me how it went and that is how I learned about it. Apparently gift cards are a gift to them.
I brought my stepdaughter here for her first salon experience and they exceeded my expectations! I chose Dilpreet based on her work from her socials because we wanted layers for her and she did an amazing job! Dilpreet was so warm, friendly, and kind when communicating with my stepdaughter. My stepdaughter is typically shy but Dilpreet made her so comfortable that she wanted to give her a hug when she was done 🥰. I am very much someone who is hesitant of seeing new hair stylists due to some bad past experiences. Prior to moving to Ottawa I would drive over an hour to get my hair cut by a stylist I trusted…so I was admittedly anxious at first when I booked in at West Side.
