Terrible bedside manner. Initial consult for my 10 year old son for tonsilitis. Maybe was in the room 3 minutes tops and he never once addressed my son other than looking at his tonsils and immediately started talking about the dangers of the surgery...we didnt know he needed to have. He talked so fast I wasnt sure what had just happened and he did ask if I had any questions...but I was so dumbfounded with how fast he was talking and felt like we were rushed out the door that I said no. Excellent Dr. Staff great! Both at Norton Shores office and Fremont office.

I’m sure Dr Belanger is very good at what he does but his bedside manner could use some work. I went with my 21 yr old daughter to her apt & he dismissed everything she tried to share with him. He wouldn’t let her show him pictures or explain what had been happening over the years. I could tell she was close to tears so I took over & asked if I could ask a couple questions. After listening to me (finally) he said it wasn’t normal what was happening to her & she should actually see a dentist. We have been to primary & urgent ... read more
