Dr S was instrumental in guiding me back to wellness from a very dark place of pain and despair. He showed tremendous empathy and patience in helping me manage my pain. He was incredibly responsive and tolerant, far beyond what was professionally required. I was not any easy patient to put it mildly. Dr. Sloshower is a kind and intelligent psychotherapist who is also skilled in pharmacology. I just wish facility were handicap accessible. There is a very steep set of stairs to enter their space on second floor w hand railing on only one side. Also ice not always cleared or salted by landlord in winter from parking lot behind building to front entrance. I have had to change expensive in person sessions to equally expensive but less effective Zoom visits as I await a hip replacement in two months.

Multiple members of family and I have done therapy with Drs Kilpatrick and Sloshower and participated in a group led by Damian and various events and workshops hosted at West Rock Wellness. They are phenomenal. The whole vibe of the center is welcoming and full of love.

I’m writing this to help a prospective patient, not to spread negativity. The entire story is complicated and I don’t wish to hash it out fully. Some key points include: -the APRN is a student, which was not communicated me until I was actually in the appointment. She *is* very, very nice and lovely. I would like to highlight that. There is a lot of love in this place, the energy is of compassion and acceptance. I took an authentic movement class which was wonderful, and a Calling in Love Cacao Sound Bath Concert. Both were excellent as the facilitators are top notch in their field. The space is clean and there are several rooms. Warm and friendly welcoming vibe. Priced fairly and affordable.
