We love our new home from West Point Builders!! They were very easy to work with and the few issues that came up were promptly resolved. This is the third new house that we have purchased in our lifetime and West Point has been the best. West Point has an above average number of models to choose from and is very flexible about customization if desired.

Steer clear!!! These guys build garbage, squeaky, overpriced homes. Since buying ours in 2016 we have had 2 foundation cracks repaired due to a rushed build, were currently dealing with MASSIVE water and mold damage in our attic due to a fireplace that was never properly installed. The roofer that came out thought our house was ***** years old due to the garbage materials used. All West Point Builders has been able to tell me so far is that I need to leave all of the saturated, molding insulation in place until they can get ... read more

HORRIBLE BUILDER - Avoid at all costs!! I made the mistake of purchasing a 10-year old “new construction home” built by this builder. I thought buying a “newer” home there wouldn’t be any major issues to worry about but man was I wrong. Shoddy workmanship from this builder where they take ZERO responsibility. Please don’t be fooled by their “A+ Rating” on here. The reviews/feedback from other homeowners on here speaks for itself.

Horrible - beware.. we had to pull out of the contract - prior to the build and complied with all requests - yet they still kept $8k of the earnest money, sold the property at a $20+k profit and still refused to return the hard earned money of a retired 76 year old lady. is is my home,love it,great job very custom,With a mom in a wheel chair and needing special touches for her,and wanting different things they meet it all and more. Horrible plain and simple. Come to West Point Gardens in Elgin Il. Knock on any door. You will find a home owner that is furious on the other side. YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Leaks, sticking windows, poor construction, poor attention to detail, lies all Part of the West Point Way. If your looking for a company to build you a home stay clear. They will not help with problems their poor craftsmanship created. They will push you aside they will ignore and lie to your face. They will actually blame their own sub contract... read more
