The communication with west Michigan mortgage has been absolutely trash. i would never recommend this company to anyone. I'm a first time home buy that was nervous. Chris made it seem like they where such a great company and loved helping but in reality they dropped the ball. i had to ask what they needed, i submitted everything to them and after multiple weeks i still haven't heard anything. thankfully i found a great mortgage company that knows their stuff.

Chris and his team were beyond wonderful! Our family had just made a big move from CA to MI and had found our dream home. We decided to switch lenders last minute and we had essentially 10 days secure a loan in order to meet our closing date agreement. Chris was able to get it done and we ended up beating the rate we originally have. Truly the best experience we could have had in our timeline needs.

Early in 2025 we refinanced our home with a VA loan. The interest rate was higher than expected and we were told that we would be able to get a lower rate after a certain number of payments and would be contacted on a certain date. That never happened. I contacted them on Dec. 5, it sounded like the process was underway. We got no further calls from them and contact attempts failed. Then I got an invitation from WMM.
