The AI customer service bot is pointless. Sure it may sound all fancy, but at the end of the day, it simply passes on a message to the humans, but with more steps. In other words, it is an overpriced Rube Goldberg re-invention of the answering machine. Furthermore, since there's no live service, this defeats the purpose of phoning in the first place, since it would have been easier to just have a message box on your website.
