Ever since the move and hiring of some of these younger guys, the customer service has been much better. I had been on the verge of writing them off as a customer but they have definitely made some changes for the better.
Do your research before going in so you don’t buy equipment you don’t need. First time going crabbing and I was hoping that the employees working would have enough expertise to guide me through my purchase. Guy at the counter was just as, if not more, clueless than I was when it came to crabbing equipment. When I asked about crab traps, he pointed at the display by the front. My family visited from abroad and wanted to go fishing. We came here for a fishing license, but the staff responsible disappeared as soon as we arrived. Other employees just told us to “keep waiting” while doing nothing, and they were rude about it. We even had items to purchase but ended up putting them back and leaving. They lost a customer, and I recommend avoiding this store.
Easy, nice marine shop. Clean and lotsa stuff!
