They need to train all of their staff in customer courtesy. The latest is a scruffy blonde girl, loud, arrogant and dismissive of paying customers. You generally leave angry even if you find what you want..
Store has almost everything you would need!
Dont always carry what I need but there aren't much choices for boat needs near Kaufman.call first for specialty items.
We are new boat owners, went to buy an oil filter (which sales person had to look up model l# in catalog). In between trying to find number in catalog he waited on other customers. They must get paid by commission, due to the fact that he kept waiting on everyone else before trying to help us. Oh well it's their loss, our future boating purchases will be made elsewhere!!
Owning a boat is just expensive and when you need a part West is the best. Good service and helpful staff.
I didn't find what I was looking for at this store, but they directed me to two other vendors who carried the item. I think that's good business sense.
I found what I needed but it was a little more than I wanted to spend. If I wasn't in a pinch about needing the part, I wouldn't have bought it. On the other hand, the sales help was very, very helpful.
