My 12-year-old cat started having serious health issues, so we took him to West Leduc Clinic. We tried a couple of medications, but his health kept declining to the point where we could clearly see he was dying and agonizing in pain. I called the vet on Friday and they said they’d call back in the morning. We received no call back until Tuesday, even though we called again on Saturday to follow up. -2 stars because they marked their meds up significantly since I was last here. Paid 3x what we usually pay. If you can, have your prescription faxed to G&E pharmacy in Edmonton (or a regular pharmacy for human medication). Absolutely ridiculous.

After several visits (4) for the same issue, I left this clinic feeling frustrated and unheard. My dog had a recurring nail injury that was repeatedly treated with antibiotics, but the underlying issue was never properly addressed. I raised concerns multiple times about the condition of the nail and the likelihood of it continuing to split, but these concerns were dismissed. We had our dog in a Leduc boarding facility while on vacation and got a call that she had blood in her urine. We couldn’t get her into her regular vet as it was too far way so we called to see if they could fit her in to check her out and they were great to set up her chart, call led us to inform of what they found, provided options on what we could do and called to follow up a few days later to see how she was doing.
