I've had my storage unit for two years, and it has been through three ownerships. I chose it initially because of location, but also the comfortability I had with the original owners. After it was sold the first time, it wasn't maintained properly, and you couldn't talk to someone on site as it was managed remotely. Now Extra Space Storage has taken over, and the most welcomed and visible improvement is the addition of the on-site manager, Regis. I had the opportunity to speak with the manager this afternoon. I voiced some of my concerns about the billing process and access times. He was very thorough in his explanations. I left there with detailed information that was clear and concise. I see the manager (Regis Murphy) regularly riding throughout the facility making sure that the is no abnormalities to the integrity of the facility. Extra Space Storage is under new management—and it shows! The difference from the previous ownership is truly night and day. The facility is now fully staffed during regular hours, which makes a huge difference in safety, service, and responsiveness. I’ve especially enjoyed working with Regis—he’s always helpful, friendly, and quick to assist with anything I’ve needed. It’s been a smooth, professional experience every time. Highly recommend!
