Took my car here for an EPC light, was sold a $2400 engine reseal that did not fix the problem. When I took it back they tried to sell me another $1200 oil pan reseal... Took it to another dealer and turns out just needed spark plugs that were never mentioned at VW West Houston. Why couldn't the techs diagnose this especially since it was giving codes for different cylinder misfires. Just beware of what they are selling you.
My husband and I broke down nearby and had our car towed here. They took over 4 hours to call us back so we eventually went in to speak with them in person, they had no idea where our car was when we got there then they took another hour to tell us that our car was too old for them to even work on, it’s a 2013. They wasted our whole day, we were here on a road trip and now we have pets at home with no one to look after them and jobs we had to rearrange for. Thanks for nothing!
READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING: A tale of a well-deserved ONE STAR. I was promised a "complementary" multi-point inspection (I think it was 20+ points, but who’s counting, right? 🙄). Cool, sounds great! Fast forward – the car throws an engine check light right before drop-off (perfect timing, huh?) and boom – an extra \$180 to check the light. No biggie.
