I had a hip replacement 10 years ago---stay away from Dr. West!! I had blisters form on the incision within the first week---infection. He did about 8 debridements in a year and a half. Another surgeon removed the infected hip and my pelvis had been eaten away from infection! My second surgeon offered to do a deposition against West ---I'm very sorry I didn't sue West for all the pain I suffered over several years!!
I’ve never been more disgusted in a human being than I’ve been with Dr. West. I only give him one star because that’s the minimum I could give. My mother just had surgery performed on her arm by “Doctor” West and he showed just how unprofessional and incompetent he is as a medical practictioner. Aside from the fact he was four hours behind schedule, he imediately left after her surgery, completely disregarding the post operative consultation with her family to let us know how everything went. I never met dr west but I would like to thank him. I came to the hospital with a shattered pelvis at the age of 31 he was able to put me back together with some pins and plates. I am glad I am able to walk today with relatively minimal pain thank you.
Dr. West gave me back my life! I am so thankful! I believe Dr. West is the best surgeon ever!
