We came on a Saturday night and got seated upstairs with a window seat view! The waitress was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. They had sold out of garlic knots so get there early if you want them! We got pizza and man it was delicious!
I have been to West First many times and was so disappointed tonight with the service. Management needs to step in with better training and standards. I remember when the original owner was starting out, baking bread part-time in the back of the Wrinkled Egg after leaving silicon valley. I have always been impressed with his talent as well as his wife's artistic abilities. Please return to those standards of excellence and caring about the customer. Crowded and loud!! Server wasn't like any encountered before. Just having water right? Thats what the waitress said to us firat thing. The water was already on table and poured. Um...we'd like drinks please. 2 Sangrias(in small wine glasses) $28. Iced tea $4. Did we get asked if wanted refills or another drink? Nope. She couldn't be bothered. Another person brought our food.
