Our experience with West End GR Event Space was a complete disaster. During an open house, a family member got stuck in their old freight elevator and had to crawl through a small gap and then onto a ladder on a lower floor to escape—a terrifying and unsafe ordeal. Shockingly, a sign inside the elevator clearly stated, “NOTICE, THIS IS NOT A PASSENGER ELEVATOR; NO PERSONS OTHER THAN THE OPERATOR AND THE FREIGHT HANDLERS ARE PERMITTED TO RIDE THIS ELEVATOR.” We were misled by their “New Form Entry: Contact Form” email, which ... read more

The location and logistics of getting everything squared away and guests into the space wasn't the best, wish the signage was clearer and more intentional rather than feeling like you're exploring an abandoned building but actual venue room was really great
We had my best friend’s baby shower here a few weeks ago and the venue was just beautiful. Everything turned out perfect. I will say, there were a couple times I had to resend emails in order to get a couple of answers. Additionally, be aware getting into the venue can be pretty confusing. If you plan an event here, I recommend putting parking and directions on the invites. Those are very minor things that can be fixed with a little planning. Overall, definitely 5 stars. I would be happy to host another event here.
