This was the second time I came here to purchase an item that every bike shop has and not only that but there website states they have the item as well? I was promptly and swiftly turned away with a very stern voice saying "WE DONT CARRY THAT"? They are absolutely prejudiced, I'm assuming because I have lots of tattoos? At any rate I felt embarrassed and very angry, so thumbs down for these guys by me.
The mid-ride “something is creaking” pop in is every shop’s nightmare but Matt took a break from what he was working on to help me chase down some possibilities and shoot the breeze. Gorgeous shop, great selection (stoked to see a local shop with Orbea!) and friendly knowledgeable folks. Matt, thanks, creak is gone! (I think it was the dropout/axle interface, as you said!)
Hans did an amazing job tuning up my bike. It looks and feels new again, plus he’s nice and easy to talk to. This is a great old-school portland establishment with solid service.
