When Cathy and Krista hatched the idea for their business back in 1999, they were inspired by the growing vibrant neighborhoods of West Asheville and the need for community-oriented walkable businesses. They both share a passion for healthy eating and a commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere where families and neighbors can relax. Everything served at the West End is made from scratch, and whenever possible we use locally grown produce and organic products. Come for breakfast and stay for lunch!

My friends' fave. It was just OK for me. Ordered the corned beef hash, and it was so greasy I couldn't really eat it. They made it w greens, and they just ended up slimy. I just dumped it. The ingredients were all chopped into such little cubes I could barely get them on a folk. Pastries looked good. Some of them looked a bit dry. But, it's a cute place. Great vibe. Rly nice staff. I dont think I'll be back, but IK others love it.
This Texan has been searching for genuine Czech bakery style kolaches for years. These are the real deal, as in soft and delicious. I plan to be a regular customer for the rest of my life.
I love the atmosphere and the variety of things they have to offer! The naruto themed sparkling sodas are amazing! 👀
One of our favorite neighborhood spots! Excellent food - breakfast sandwich w sausage and bahn mi are both incredible. Wonderful pastries/bread - never been disappointed. Solid coffee - I mainly get cold brew so can’t speak for overall. Good atmosphere - not trendy inside like some other spots, but plenty of room, good WiFi for working, and an outdoor patio for doggos.
