Love West Dover Inn! We keep going back whenever we visit Vermont. Fantastic hospitality! Phil and Kathy Gilpin make you feel like part of their family from the moment you arrive. Very clean, quaint, awesome food and drink. Jimmy, the Fri and Sat night PUB singer is fabulous. Donny the bartender really KNOWS how to make a drink.
I went to the 1846 last night after work gor a burger and brew. Burger was as ordered, med. rare and juicy. The accompanying fries were on the other hand limp, greasy and cold. ICK! The Allagash was good, but them thry usually are. This burger/one beer meal cost 32.00 incl the tip. This is why I don't frequent this place..overpriced, marginal food. Dont bother.
