Very helpful to have an old transmission shop around that the guys who answer the phones actually know about transmissions & tfc's and can help you with what you're looking for. I appreciate the old school shops that are still around like this one!
I've used West Coast Standards on 4 transfer case rebuilds for customers cars in my shop and they have always been spot on and trouble free . Great shop to do business with
Avoid this shop at all costs. I gave my NV4500 manual trans to a shop that sent it here (since they don't rebuild manuals) and both times it was "rebuilt", it's been plagued with problems! Yes, I said both times. I had to send it back right away after the first rebuild! The NV4500 came out of my 2003 Dodge pickup and was never rebuilt prior. Trans had almost 300k and was still driveable but, hard to get into 3rd. I didn't receive "my" transmission back but, one that was already "rebuilt". Right away there were issues: Revers... read more
