I went to get an IUD insertion, took medication to prepare and when I arrived I found out that you can’t have unprotected intercourse leading up to it… when I scheduled no one told me this. This should be the first thing they tell you. I will not be going back due to this poor communication on their end.

I received excellent care at West Coast OB. Every provider was professional and compassionate. Both Carlsbad and San Diego offices were spotless. I am so happy that my baby and I were cared for by WC OB.

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience with this office. Unfortunately, the customer service was deeply disappointing. I was treated with a surprising lack of care or empathy, which is especially troubling in a medical setting where compassion should be central. The interaction felt cold and impersonal, as though the person on the phone forgot there was a real human being on the other end. Because of this experience, I chose not to move forward with West Coast OBGYN.
