Equity Eye Group in La Mesa is disgusting, incompetent, and unethical. I paid over $1,200 for lenses, and after weeks of lies, rude staff, and endless delays, they gave me the wrong lenses, took them back, and kept my money. Manager Barbara promised a refund multiple times but never delivered and stopped answering my calls. Staff and management are disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unaccountable. Avoid this place at all costs.

Reviewing under a pseudonym because I feel uncomfortable. This review is in regard to the unhinged and inappropriate misconduct by a technician/assistant named Tasneem. I sensed that she was an unsafe person from the moment she led me to the back room. She was very tense and quiet in a way which gave out disturbed vibes. Have eye infection after my surgery! Couldn't get any help from Acuity. Was transferred back & forth & left on hold until I finally hung up! Having to self treat! Transferring my insurance asap!
I had my first appointment today, a wonderful technician did my tests & I have my first appointment with my eye doctor this coming Tuesday, if the doctor is as knowledgeable and friendly as the technician, as a diabetic who has eye issues, I will be on cloud nine!
This was my first appt. I was impressed with friendly staff, very short wait time, Dr. was thorough, gave explanations, and was kind. Will definitely recommend.
My husband has just had his Cataracts removed by Dr Ben Lambright and could not be happier. What a great guy he is. Would highly recommend him and his staff are great. You may have to wait a little longer sometimes but hey, it is worth it. I would highly recommend West Coast Eye Care
