We just returned home from having to send our furry girl, Peanut, to the Rainbow Bridge. I would like to commend the staff and especially Dr. Rubenstein for their caring, understanding, patience, and compassion during a very difficult time. We were allowed all the time we felt we needed to say our goodbyes and after the procedure we were not rushed out the door. After 15 years with my furry baby girl I am not sure if I will ever have another pet, but if I do this is the only veterinarian's office I would consider using.
Have taken dogs and cats,kittens here as Foster Mom for Those Left Behind Foundation; good people; can recommend their care.
I would and have recommended this animal hospital to anyone that asks . me. The staff as well as the vets are GREAT !! I've taken my dog there 2 times so far as a emergency issue and was totally pleased , they acually cared about me as well . Priced reasonably. Went to Las Vegas emergency hospital on charleston and they were HORRIBLE!! These people are awesome if you can't get ur vet or if its after hours. I am very fussy dog owner and I fell this is the place to use !
Dr. Carney is the Dr. we see at West Charleston Animal Hospital. We have seen a few others on an emergency type basis and it is similar to going to emergi-care and not your regular doc, they do the best they can. Dr. Carney is loving and caring with our animals, knows each one of them personally and calls periodically to check in on them if she hasn't heard from us. She saved Hannah's life after someone abused her. Hannah had a rough go of it, but thanks to Dr. Carney she is stabilized on meds and hasn't had a seizure as of ... read more
Jones Gregory Dvm - West Charleston Animal Hosp I have spent thousands of dollars here over a years' worth of time for my dogs and all they did was take and take and I never got any kind of info when they took the same tests over and over and kept on charging me. Dr. Jones never showed me any of their test results and I trusted him. Well, I learned my lesson. I don't even know if he took half the tests that I paid for. I feel like I was ripped off. I have been a professional Pug Breeder and Dr Jones and Dr. Kempf are very knowledgeable and up to date on the technical side of care, the front office staff are great with a nod to Brenda, friendly and willing to work with you...Please disregard the negative remarks from embittered ex employees, this is a very good animal hospital.
