Warning: DO NOT BUY A KIA PRODUCT USED. We have a vehicle in service now. 2020 with 93k miles on it. Bought it 2 years old with 30k miles in it. Blown motor. 2.0 liter 4 cylinder Nu code motor. Known issue, bad piston rings. They blow ALL the time. The 2.4 liter 4 cylidners ALSO blow all the time. Going back almost 15 years!!!! We're now out of warranty. I own my 2nd Kia Soul because my first one was fantastic. At 91k miles now and my engine (blew), needs to be replaced. Not at all happy that even though MANY 2020 Kia Souls are having engine troubles, they will not replace it at the company's cost . So, $7,299. Is the cost they gave me in writing to replace the engine with a refurbished one, that may take up to 1 month to complete. I asked for a courtesy car and was denied.
