I recently delivered at West Boca, even though I had originally planned to deliver at Boca Regional. Due to high blood pressure, we had to switch to West Boca at the last minute, due to other hospitals being busy I was a bit nervous since my first delivery was at Boca Regional, but we ended up having an AMAZING experience! Had both my kids at WBMC and now my daughter had her second baby there. Very good experience felt cared for with competent staff who were all first class. Could not have had a better experience.

While I’d like to give five stars for this hospital, as most of the nurses and drs are wonderful, I can’t. They are very understaffed. I went into preterm labor and was being monitored closely knowing that if/when I gave birth my baby would be only 31 weeks. After a day and a half of labor I asked for an epidural. By this time, I was far too along for that and the nurse never recognized this even though she felt how dilated I was. I could not have pictured a better birthing experience than what we had at West Boca. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. Despite many things not happening the way I envisioned them (out of the control of any person on my medical team), I have nothing but positive feelings about my birth. It was a genuinely beautiful experience for me at every moment. There are truly no words powerful enough to capture how extraordinary the entire WBMC NICU team is. They quite literally saved our daughter’s life, and because of that, they will forever hold a place in our hearts.
