One week ago we expanded our family with the addition of Diggory (formerly Petie). We couldn't be happier with our experience at the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter as they helped us prepare for our new pup with detailed information about him. The staff and volunteers are first-class and helped match us with the perfect dog. We highly recommend this organization to anyone looking to rescue an animal.
This place is one of the most perfectly run shelters with the most amazing team ever. The shelter is extremely clean & well taken care of. The staff are professionals & really know what they are doing - both administrative & in animal care. The staff truly loves animals & cares for them. Animals are treated very well while awaiting new homes. The adoption process was thorough & precise. We were made to feel very comfortable & ready once we met our Rocco.
