RecommendedTook my 4 year old in because he hit the edge of a chair and perforated his chin. My son is one of those that is terrified of any medical thing but Dr. Henderson in the children’s hospital was so awesome with him. He listened to him, played pretend with his toys, was silly with him, just made him feel as comfortable as he could be in that situation. Thank you Dr. Henderson.

I had a procedure done today at Wesley Medical Center on 2 tower in the endo department and I was very impressed by the knowledge and empathy that the nursing staff had towards their patients. My nurse, Brian, was amazing! He explained the whole process of the procedure ( esophageal manometry) that I was going to experience from beginning to end. Nurses make all the difference when it comes to hospital visits! I would absolutely recommend any type of GI testing at this facility, top notch! Thank you Brian!

Very friendly staff & very concerned about their patients & their families ! My Dad was in Building 4 -Room 905 ! He had back surgery & his surgeon Dr. Henry was so thorough explaining the procedure he was going to preform on Dad to me & him ! We loved our 𝖬𝖺𝗅𝖾 nurse Chris ! He went out of his way to see that we were taken care of ! We had a older tall man from respiratory that had been their yrs that was very good & explained & showed Dad about breathing treatments! The staff in the Op surgery room was outstanding !

The nicu here is amazing and we spent time in KC’s too so we’ve seen others first hand. The entire staff goes above and beyond, Doctors Bloom, Rhagaveer and Dorne took so much extra time to make sure we were comfortable and completely informed of what was going on with our twins at all times. Our nurses made us feel like our babies were in the best hands when we couldn’t be there and cared for them and for us, the respiratory therapists explained what they were doing even down to the janitorial staff that kept them in a clea... read more
I loved the nurses on the 4th floor!!! I was there for 8 days and they treated me like gold!! Tona, I just love her!!!! Also the others, I just remember her name!!!

I can’t say enough about the Derby ER. MY 7 month old is a frequent flyer with bronch issues and they are absolutely phenomenal each and every time. The respiratory therapist and even some nurses remember us by name which makes our visits that much more comfortable.
