I had a breast reduction with Dr. Schooler in December. Everything from the consultation to the surgery date went so smoothly. Everyone in the office was so kind and helpful with giving me all the information I needed. Dr. Schooler is a very talented and thoughtful surgeon who took such good care of me during this procedure. The staff is informative and helpful as well as incredibly polite and sympathetic. I felt very well cared for pre-and post procedure.
The staff was friendly and informative. I could just call in with questions and the person answering the phone was always able to answer them or find someone who could. Dr. Schooler was friendly and listened to what I wanted and answered all my questions leaving me at ease about my procedures. Scheduling followups was easy and I couldn't have asked for the surgery and recovery to have gone any more smoothly.
I am a weight loss patient and had an initial skin removal in San Jose. A couple years passed and things did t seem right and was having issues. I researched surgeons and found Dr Schooler. Appointment was thorough. He explained different options, listened to what my outcome expectations were. Gave realistic outcomes. One of the best things was his attention to detail. Overall very pleased with my outcome. I would highly recommend him.
I Had a Good Experience but the Effect Did Not Turn out Like I Wanted 27 Aug 2020 I am still waiting to get my follow up appointment for a prior surgery I had with this Doctor.I went into surgery with this Doctor and asked him to fix a certain aspect of my anatomy and he agreed.I then went back to him after the surgery to get it fixed and was assured he would fix it. The office was running behind at initial consultation. Dr Schooler was rushed, dropped camera & had trouble getting it to work. At one point he walked out without saying anything to us. We were interrupted by nurse, asking questions about another patient. That should have been a warning sign. Talked to nurse many times before surgery with questions. We were lucky to have Dr. Schooler at our visit to the ER. He has a calming presence and is very well respected in the hospital. Dr. Schooler did a careful and pristine job stitching up my child during our emergency situation. I would absolutely recommend him as a Physician and skilled Plastic Surgeon.
Meetings scheduled wrong, disorganized, doctor seemed unprepared. Although I have full insurance coverage for a breast reduction I went elsewhere and paid out of pocket. Not a good experience.
