I don't know who else has jumped around on lenses like I have, but I can say without a doubt that the wens electric ultra is the closest match to the ao yet. I've spent entire days switching between hoods comparing the two lenses and yes the ao does still come out on top, but barely. A few months back I ordered opticool's mellow weld, buying into his "true-cobalt-impregnated-lens" claims, and I would advise you to not do the same. Game changer for sure, everything is so clear and my eyes don't feel like trash after 12+ hours of various welding, and I might be biased but I'll choose a Texas company everytime!
