I’m from southern Virginia. I moved to Austin about 9 years ago. For the life of me I couldn’t find a Chinese restaurant that had that authentic east coast taste that you can typically find anywhere back home. Wen’s blew me out of the water. If you’re from the east and looking for that comfort take out. Just visit!

Start off with courtesy chips and sauce the moment you sit at your at your table. Super fast and fresh with plenty to save for tomorrow’s lunch. The brown rice is cooked to perfection. The Hun beef is packed with veggies in a flavorful sauce.
I used to order from here almost weekly. I stopped last year because an order that I received was so bad, I had to throw it away. Today I decided to give it another try. Wen's Cafe must be under new ownership or management or something! I had to again throw the food away! I opened it and it stunk like cigarettes!! No more wasting money here!
