I have been seeing Dr. Giles for several years and I am very satisfied with her care. After menopause started, she guided me through several areas that were giving me problems and really helped me. She is very good at explaining in detail and listening to concerns. I have referred Dr. Giles several times and will continue to do so.
I like Dr. Giles herself, and the staff is nice. but I'm half heartedly always on the lookout for a new gynecologist. Hours are limited. Parking can be a hassle. Follow-ups are either very slow or non-existent, so be prepared to interpret any test results yourself. There is no patient portal. The whole feel of the place - from the physical environment to outdated policies - makes it seem like Dr. Giles stopped investing in the practice about 20 years ago. Office let an abnormal mammogram result sit for a month. Then let a second one sit for a month before calling pt. Luckily we knew to immediately see a breast specialist and get biopsy. Dr. Giles also accused patient of being a drug seeker for needing a refill of a sleep aid, despite it being smallest dose because PCP had a nervous breakdown and took a 6 month sabbatical and left pt without a PCP. She has horrible bedside manner, lacks any empathy and compassion and in general, seems a miserable person. Just retire already!!

She's a great doctor & truly cares about her patients. Staff is also nice & efficient. Never an issue.
Will not go back to see her again. I took my minor daughter asked the staff to advise the doctor that certain terminology would upset my daughter and to please ask the doctor to respect that. Prior to the doctor walking in the exam room I asked the nurse to again please be sensitive To my request. During the appointment the doctor clearly DID NOT honor my request. I cannot even begin to express my level of disgust and outrage that she did not honor the request of the parent of a minor child
She did a laparoscopy surgery on me to remove a cyst & check my tubes. After the surgery, I was informed she never checked my tubes because my body was swollen! She had a new solution to the complications I was facing after the surgery but never talked about them at the next visit. It seemed like she didn't have the knowledge to guide me to the right direction. I have never tried to conceive naturally & she never checked my tubes, but her 1st solution was seeing a fertility doctor.
