We continue our mission by taking care of displaced pets, rescuing injured and lost animals, continuing our spay/neuter program, investigating cruelties and finding homes for the orphaned animals.

that's where I adopted my german shepherd. she had just been dropped off and I didn't think twice about putting up the adoption fee. she is now almost 3yrs old and the best darn dog. the humane society did an amazing job on spaying her and the staff was so friendly.
Thank you, WVHS for helping us find our purebred Aussie Shepherd! They were so on top of it and very quick to locate him. Not to mention he was not wearing his collar (he had just had a flea bath)! We reported him missing very late at night and the next morning by 7am I had already received texts from WVHS staff with pictures of my dog (in custody) asking if it was him after posting to social media the previous night. Love our local humane society! Such a great, passionate group of people.
Extremely helpful with very friendly staff! They helped us complete our little family and we are beyond grateful for that!
What loving and caring staff
We were very impressed with the new facility and the staff here at humane society. You could tell they put there heart into these little furry friends. We had one of the staff members spend time with us giving us wonderful advice of adopting our first little mini dog Yogi and taking care of them. She was awesome and really new what she was talking about. They let us put yogi the dog and baby kitten Harley together to see how they worked together. We drove to Wenatchee from the Everett area to go take a look at some pups, and we were surprised how easy it was to go say hi to the dogs! The volunteers were very friendly and helpful and helped us find the perfect one for us. We took home Iris today and we are absolutely in love. — with Benjamin Bloomquist.
We have been adopting furry family members since 1995. What a wonderful place filled with caring volunteers. I highly recommend adopting from WVHS! They have so many wonderful animals to choose from!

Best shelter I've ever been to. They are very flexible with meeting animals and always have lots of them. The new 2016 building is amazing too!
