Does not honor appointments. Made me wait 30 minutes, and then rudely told me she is canceling my appointment and does not have time for me. I scheduled my appointment well in advance, checked in, then waited a half hour before she told me that she was canceling my appointment. This doctor acted like she was annoyed at me, like how dare I try to take her time. Very unprofessional.
Dr. Welty is so warm and caring. She listened thoroughly and made me feel empowered and happy after our appointment. She didn’t encourage medication at all (no idea how someone else could describe her as pill-pushing?? Opposite experience) but also didn’t discourage it. She struck a great balance. I came to her from a bad experience with a different psychiatrist and she restored all faith I had!
Dr. Welty is very kind and has helped my anxiety a lot this past year. She always remembers and follows up on details of our previous visit. She also had good recommendations for natural supplements to help with my anxiety
