I don't usually post reviews, but I felt compelled to warn the general public about this awful property. I have unfortunately lived at Welton Park for a long and miserable four years. I have had so many unpleasant experiences while living on this property, I'm not sure where to begin. The crime rate is unbelievable. In the four years that I have lived on this property, there have been five shootings and one assault that I'm aware of. Welton Park is in a great location. Near Parks libraries and shopping lots of great restaurants!
My husband and I LOVE Welton Park. It's quiet where we live and the interior of the apartments are beautiful and not very old. Let me make it clear that the 5 stars are for the staff. You have to take into consideration that it is a low income community and it's downtown... so there are going to be happenings that you won't see everywhere you live. I would say the when/if there are problems, the majority of the time it is resident issues, not staff issues. Because the staff is great! Our maintenance guys are on top of it all... read more
