Wellways is the stigma it claims to fight! Extremely poor leadership and management, mental health of staff here at an all-time low due to lack of support and severe understaffing.
All the support workers are excellent except for one.There is only male support worker and for some reason my close relative has been stuck with him since 2024 despite my complaints about a male being allocated to my female family member. Wellways is not the organisation to help her as she needs more than they can offer. She asks her 82yr old mother to take her shopping, Mum can't carry the heavy bags, my relative refuses to carry them herself though half my mothers age. Not sure how they are now. BUT some time back they were pathetic to be polite. Charged for a support worker to take to another group, where charged again, while all the staff sat and drank coffee. Charged at a one on one rate, when there were 8-10 clients. Spent more time chasing them and services than we actually used them.. NOT Impressed at all.

Fantastic support always very respectful in all areas of disability, mental health, rehabilitation. I honestly have the up most trust, honesty with care they provide. Managment go beyond what is expected and most of all the passion for healing,listening and care is very powerful. I recommend wellways in all areas tender, loving, care. Wellways also provides the up most care for the carer, family who also need that extra support and guidance.
