Every staff member that I came into contact with were so polite and they did a great job of removing my appendix they also called my house phone to see how I was doing they really took great care of me
I cannot say enough good things about the surgery staff! Everyone was professional and so very kind this week. I didn't meet one rude or grumpy person. Hopefully, I won't need their services again but I would recommend them to anyone who needs surgery. I'm already feeling much better! Coming from a nurse myself, they give truly amazing care! Many thanks!
Where doctors and nurses still care.
Very slow and the staff are all becoming increasingly rude, and act as if they hate their jobs. My Mother came in with a severe allergic reaction. Her face and neck were swelling up. She was told she would be the 1st to go back. Well they take 5 others back as she's still sitting there all swollen and having breathing issues by this time. They then say......."oooops, we made a mistake and you should have already gone back". Your Oooooops is going to cost someone their life one day. Get your act together there at Douglas.
Will never return to this hospital. Nurses were slow and brought incorrect medication when they did show up. I saw 4 different doctors in 3 days and was discharged (after several hours back and forth) without proper medication, swollen and sore from everything they pumped into me for 3 days and just told to follow up with my PCP and one of the doctors from the hospital (no way). Worst experience ever.
I think Wellstar Douglas is the best hospital in 'west GA!!! I have never had a bad experience with them!!!
Y'all need to improve your ER nobody should have to wait three hours in the waiting room
