Wasn't serviced. United Health Care itself local signage/visitor parking fail to note this clinic is exclusively for active KSU students and, I assume staff. It's only listed as a Wellstar Urgent Care. Just gotta be faster than the parking cops to figure it out since not being a student means you aren't a clinic patient either.
KSU Students!! This place is fantastic. There is so much covered under your student health fee and they have an on site dispensary and can dispense certain medications that are included in the student health fee. The free is VERY cheap considering everything you get. I don’t know how it is in the fall and spring since I am just here for the summer but I was seen for an injury and was referred to get an X ray and got an X ray the same day as well as medications from the dispensary. Would not recommend. Dr Meredith did not test me for anything. She sent me home with a “upper respiratory infection” diagnoses, no recommendations on how to feel better, and a puny doctor’s note that said I was seen there and to “take this into account regarding work/assignments” but I’m taking a May 2-week semester so I needed it to have an excused absence. I would recommend going to a CVS minute clinic before this office.
Dr. Meredith was attentive and compassionate during my visit. I came in expecting a quick referral, but she took the time to truly listen to my concerns and ask thoughtful questions. I felt heard, validated, supported throughout the appointment, and got a referral!
So professional and knowledgeable! Nurses are fantastic!
