Who ever is managing their referrals is not very good at their job. They literally left a voicemail for me saying I needed to call them back because they didn't know who to put the referral under. They expect me, the patient, to know or track down the NPI number for the doctor I am being referred to. The other clinic is PT at Wellstar. So Wellstar failed to submit the referral to Tricare and instead sent it directly to the other doctor. The person processing referrals didn't have the information they needed (NPI number).
