Jeannie was extremely rude. All other nurses and doctors were very kind.
The ER was attentive to my daughter as she arrived in a severe state of DKA. We were moved quickly to the PICU. This review is for PICU- As wonderful as some of the nurses are at this unit, a nurse who cannot regulate her nervous system is a huge danger. Nurse Ashley showed visible frustration with me as a mother questioning her about my daughter’s treatment. These doctors were very polite and had me fixed in a timely fashion.
Very disappointed in the care my 4 month old received from the emergency department at Kennestone. We brought him in Saturday night with severe retractions and secretions. He was diagnosed with RSV, and we were sent on our way an hour later with nothing more than a suctioning for treatment. I came back Sunday at 2 because he had continued to worsen. Don’t take your child here. Seriously. I was sent to this ER by my son’s pediatrician due to him having pneumonia and extremely high blood pressure. They took him back to a room immediately, the doctor came in, he was older and had an accent, as he was asking me questions I would try to answer them and he would talk over me and dismiss me. Then, before doing any sort of testing, they give my son a slow push of rocephin in his IV and the doctor came in and told me he probably had a lifelong genetic kidney disease and sent us ... read more
