I came in twice in 2024 for a concussion & an issue with my big toe where I fell off my porch & my toe was locked/stuck, causing my foot/ankle to be extremely stiff & hard to walk on. I was told nothing was broken & everything looked fine. Two days later I went to a podiatrist that told me I needed surgery due to loss cartilage & more. Our doctor and nurse were kind and explained everything to us. But unfortunately, that was about the only good things about our experience here. My fiance was showing clear symptoms of appendicitis and was in so much pain that she was starting to pass out. When I went up to the front desk to ask if there was a waitlist or something so I could know how long it'll take before she was seen. My husband cut himself pretty bad on the wrist with a chainsaw. We tried Paulding ER- but after a 2 hour wait and watching people walk in and go back ahead of us we left and took a chance at kennestone. I suggest going here first- he was in and out in less than 2 hours and everything went really smoothly for him.

*BEWARE OF NURSE DREW* I do not recommend Wellstar Kennestone Emergency Room, especially if you’re seeking care for something as serious and painful as a sickle cell crisis. I arrived at the ER due to a sickle cell pain episode and ended up waiting over 3 hours in the waiting room before I was given a bed. Despite the waiting room being relatively empty, it seemed like new patients were being prioritized over me, which was frustrating and deeply concerning given the level of pain I was in.
