In the Sept. of 2020. I ended up in the emergency room because I was in a lot of pain in my lower right side of my back. I called an ambulance and went to the emergency room. I had the worst experience at this hospital and I have been to a lot of Wellstar hospital but Douglas has been the most rudest of them all. The er department omg the worst it looks like when they see another nurse talking rude to you they will not address the issue. I learn that if you don’t take these reviews seriously this hospital is going to have a serious law suit on there hands because we are supposed to feel safe. Terrible place. Dr gave my spouse medication that has negative side effects for headache sufferers, caused him to stay another night in hospital. The next day the nurse tried to give him same medication, when he refused she threw the pill across the tray. They made sure to charge for both pills and the additional stay and unwilling to work with financial plan. He is a cancer patient and unemployed but Wellstar wants payment in full because he can't provide pay stubs.
