Poor customer service from one of your medical groups. Do you care?
I have serious concerns about my recent experience in the Emergency Department on November 3rd. While I was promptly signed in, had vitals taken, and received an X-ray within 30 minutes, I then waited approximately five hours in the waiting room. During that time, my vital signs were taken twice in a public area, which raises privacy concerns under HIPAA guidelines. There’s No communication at all. I’m so frustrated with Wellstar!! can’t believe how Wellstar staff just ignored me! I’ll let Dr Jungblut know tomorrow that I’ll no longer use Wellstar for anything. No one answered the phone after 10 times calling! Then no one returns my urgent calls! They hang up on me. I’m reporting this to your headquarters. Now even your HQ doesn’t answer!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I came in with a documented infection in my knee that was worsening. I had spreading pain down my leg, swelling over the bursa, and a fever earlier in the day, every reason to take this seriously. The nurse practitioner refused to run any labs, even after I specifically requested a WBC, ESR, or CRP to rule out sepsis or systemic infection. DO NOT GO TO ANY WELLSTAR FACILITY!! I have been trying to dispute my charges for MONTHS and no one is able to get me in contact with anyone who can help. I’ve been trying to get this resolved before I’m sent to collections, but I’m convinced they don’t want to take accountability for their actions so they’re blatantly ignoring me.
